So, I love bronzer. Known fact. I love my MAC bronzing powder... well I hit pan (that's an understatement) I have a very thin area at the edge that it's not even worth trying to use. Well... As much as I love it, it hasn't been impressing me much. I feel like all bronzers make my face look like a freaking disco ball.. not my style.
Well I saw when I was at Target yesterday the NYC (New York Color) Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder. The color is Sunny-720... and it's MATTE!
It was $2, and I have to admit that I am quite impressed. I used it for the first time today and I feel like my skin has a perfect matte finish, not overly shiny and saying "hello! I'm clearly wearing a bronzer". This is my very first NYC product, like I said I have always been exclusive to my MAC bronzer. I will buy another MAC bronzer, because sometime I do want that glowy sparkle look.. but for my normal days at work I love the matte finish of the NYC. Will definitely purchase again! My only con is that the packaging is really cheap and kind of tacky, but it was $2 and the product on the inside works well.
BTW: Before I used it this morning, I did look it up on Makeupalley.com and also saw on google that it is youtube guru Meghanrosettes favorite bronzer, I was shocked! But.. Now I know why, I love it!

What I'm reading now! Something Borrowed by Emily Giffin
So, I was trying to find a new book to read and as I was browsing the Kindle store I heard a preview for a movie... Something Borrowed! I heard at the end of the commercial that it was after the book by Emily Giffin. So I thought this movie looks cute, I'll read the book! Boy am I glad, I can't put it down! It's very funny and a great read. Also I believe there are 2 other books that are part of this series. I can't wait to read those too! Also, I can't wait to see the movie. I love Kate Hudson!

Hautelook - Urban Decay Products
So I am always lurking around Hautelook, but since I'm always at work when things go on sale I'm not always available to get the things I want since they sell out fast. Well, I finally made my first purchase during their Urban Decay sale last week. I bought the following three things:
I bought the Urban Decay eyeshadow in Jones, it was only $5 so I thought I'd give it a try.
I bought the Urban Decay Afterglow Blush in Score, that also was only $5. I love blushes and heard this was similar to Orgasm by Nars.
I also bought the Urban Decay Afterglow Blush in Quickie. Like I said I love blushes and this seems very pinky, so I thought I would give it a try since it's only $5!
My only problem with Hautelook is that I ordered these all on April 1st, and they will not arrive until April 18th-22nd. Seems like a pretty long wait! Once I finally receive these I will do a quick review on what I think!
I really wanted to buy one of the eyeshadow pallets, but those were all on hold the entire time and I could never snag one!
Today in about 4 minutes they start the Betsey Johnson sunglasses sale.. I am definitely going to check that out! Wish me luck ;)

March Favorites!
So here is a list of my favorite products I used in March!
My favorite eye shadow for March is Woodwinked by MAC. I love the color, and you'll learn that I love very neutral/natural eye colors. It goes on very smooth and is very pigmented. I highly reccomend it for an all over lid color.
My second eye product is my MAC Paint Pot in Rubenesque. It's a peachy gold color, and I really like this as an eyeshadow primer. More so than my Urban Decay Primer Potion. It goes on smooth and since I wear a lot of natural/neutral eye shadow colors it really makes them pop and brings out the color more.
My last eye product for March is my Benefit BADgal Lash Mascara. I really like this mascara because the brush is big and grabs and coats all of my lashes. I really need only two coat to get a dramatic dark long lash. It's not a curling mascara, so I still use my lash curler.
Okay so on to lips! My favorite lip product for March was my MAC lipstick in Angel. This is a very popular lipstick at MAC, I believe it is Kim Kardashians signature lip color. I really love it because it goes on smooth and it smells really good for a lipstick! It is a frost lipstick, which normally I am not a fan of, but I absolutely love this color! It's a really pretty pink, pefect for spring!
My second lip product for March is my EOS Lipbalm in Summer Fruit! It is in the cutest little egg shaped container. It smells and tastes delicious! It's really easy to apply and really hydrates my lips.
My last favorite lip product for March is my Smashbox Limitless Long Wear Lip Gloss in 'Round the Clock. It's a really pretty peachy pink with gold shimmer, it's definitely long wearing. I've found when I apply it it's still on hours later, it's not super sticky and it has SPF 15 which is amazing for spring/summer.
My last cosmetics item for March is a brush I just purchased maybe two months ago. I originally went into Ulta looking for a Duo Fiber stippling brush, I went to my MAC and they were out so I thought I would try a different brand. I ask the MUA at Ulta and she highly recomended the Cargo Magic Brush. What really won me over the the demonstration. Something about the bristles makes it so you don't have to clean it or wipe it off when going from a wet foundation to a dry bronzer, or blush. It's very universal and its not too big so it fits in my travel make up bag. You really need to try it for yourself, I absolutely love it and I find that I am only using this brush now, and not reaching for my MAC brushes. It was about $34 from Ulta.
Okay, now my two favorite accessories for March. My first one is a gold heart necklace from Forever 21. It's a long gold chain with a couple little pearls and a gold locket at the end. It also has a super cute floral print bow on the side, which is really in right now for spring. It makes any simple shirt look great. My only complaint is that the locket is magnetic so I find that it gets stuck on other metal things.. hehe oh well! Also, it was a great price, I believe $6.80 at Forever 21.

My last accessory is my bracelet set from Forever 21. I am loving turqouise jewelry right now and loving the boho chic look. This bracelet set definitely has both! I love the gold and wood along with the turqouise. It gives off a very earthy boho feel, yet you can really dress it up or down. I love these!
My last favorite for March is my nailpolish, China Glaze's For Audrey. It's such a gorgeous Tiffany & Co. box blue. Pastels are very in right now for spring and I just love this color! Also, I love Tiffany's and my favorite movie (of course) is Breakfast at Tiffany's starring Audrey Hepburn.
Anyways, that was my list of March favorites! Hope you enjoy!

First Post! :)
Here goes my first post! So I have always been crazy into makeup, accesories, and clothes.. I'm a girl so of course I am!
My name is Stephanie, I am 22 years old and from the Chicago area.
I spend a lot of time on peoples blogs and vlogs and of course the youtube guru's, and thought to myself, Hey why don't I make a blog to share my opinions?
What I really want to do with this blog is to do reviews on the products I use, the places I shop, and also to just blog about my life! I am pretty excited about this and I'm excited to start my first review today!
I will be back later to write one :)
