Kiss everEZlashes

Last month I received the Kiss everEZlashes in my Bride To Be Voxbox. I was very excited to try these out, and I usually don't use lashes too often. I get frustrated and usually give up.

Well last Friday my fiance graduated Navy bootcamp, and since I had to dress up I thought I would give them a try. I woke up pretty early and made sure I would have enough time to apply these, as usually it can take me forever. :p I noticed that with the EZ strings that they were very easy to align with my natural lashes, and the red strings slid off easily once the lashes had set. I felt very pretty all day, and my fiance even mentioned that my eyes looked prettier than he remembered. ;) (I haven't seen him in two months, because Navy bootcamp you lose all contact with your sailor till graduation) So I was happy he thought I looked great! I am very impressed with the lashes because I did not need to trim them, or wrestle around to get them on correctly. I will definitely repurchase these again, the price is just right on them.

My only con to the lashes is that if you want to reuse them, they won't be as "easy" the second time around since the red strings are not attached. But, I can deal with that with a little more practice at applying lashes.

Here is the site for the Kiss everEZlashes be sure to check them out!

Anyone try these? Thoughts? Have you tried to put the red strings back on? Any tips?

Nail Polish Obsession Tag!!

What were the questions?:

1. What's your favorite nail polish company?

My Favorite nail polish company is definitely Essie. I love how opaque their colors are and I love their brush. I have very tiny fingers so a smaller brush works best for me. Also, I feel that the quality of Essie is great -- sometimes I can go a whole week without chipping.

2. Glitter or no glitter?

I would have to say no glitter. Glitter polishes are very pretty, but since I work at a corporate office sometime glitter polishes can come off a little too "party party". I have noticed though, that the Butter London glitter polishes are more muted and appropriate for the work place. BUT let's get back to why I choose no glitter, the biggest most agreeable reason would be that no glitter comes off way easier. Glitter is so hard to take off!

**Quick Tip** Head over to Target and purchase the up&up brand nail polish remover. It's called up&up nail polish remover dip-it. It's great because all you do is basically stick your finger in and rub it against the plastic brushes and it removes your nailpolish easily. Also, it's GREAT for glitter polish, no more cotton balls sticking to the glitter!

3. OPI, China Glaze, or Essie?

Once again, Essie for the reasons listed in question number one. OPI comes in second. I really like OPI they have a great color selection, my only beef is that the brush is too large and thick. Like I said earlier I have tiny fingers so the bigger brush tends to be a little messy and uncontrollable for me.

4. When do you change your nail polish?

I usually change my nail polish about twice a week, unless I am lazy then as long as it doesn't chip I will leave the color one for a week.

5. What's your favorite color on your nails?

My favorite color to wear on my nails is Sew Psyched by Essie. It's an army green/green khaki color. It's actually quite ugly, but I love ugly colors so I find it gorg!

6. Darks or Brights?

Darks. I know it's not always right, but I wear darks year round. Don't get me wrong I do like brights in the summer with a tan. It's just that my go to colors are usually dark.

7. What are you wearing on your nails right this moment?

I am currently wearing Lady Like by Essie. It's a creamy mauvy dusty pink. There is an ongoing joke at my work that I have the most hilarious descriptions. I describe Lady Like as being a dusty old lady pink, reminds me of the color toilet seat at your grandparents house. :) hehe

8. Matte Nails--In or Out?

Personally, I do not like matte nails. I love a smooth shiny finish. I see some pictures of matte nails and they are edgy looking, just not my style. Also, I feel like matte nails make me want to grind my teeth together. It just looks rough, like a chalk board. Yuck.

9. French Manicure?

I used to love french manicures when I was in middle school and high school. They were great for dances. Now I only like them on my toes. I think they are pretty with tan. I feel like the next time I get a french manicure will be either when I get married, or if I am in a wedding.

10. Favorite Winter Color?

Well I can't pick just one. My THREE favorite colors for winter have been Bobbing for Baubles by Essie, Case Study by Essie, and My Private Jet by OPI.
